FULL REVIEW:

MailGet Review
by Mark Shroyer

Created by a company called FormGet, MailGet works differently than all the other services I've reviewed and used.

What is the main difference about MailGet?

I'd say it's the fact that they use a third party SMTP service (i.e., Amazon SES) to deliver your emails. (You can choose other options for SMTP, too.)

For those who don't know, SMTP stands for Simple Mail Transfer Protocol, and it's the Internet standard for sending emai typically used today.

Which means with MailGet there is no hosting and no complicated setup requirements because SMTP and the cloud is used to send your emails.

Here's the catch...

Some of these third party SMTP services will charge you for sending out emails.

But don't let that stop you, here's why...

Amazon SES offers a free account for those getting started. And if you send more than Amazon's allotted amount for their free account, you only pay for what you use and it's very reasonable. (i.e., $0.10 per 1,000, $5 per 50,000, $10 per 100,000.)

In fact, you can send mass emails to reach your prospective customers via SMTP for 100 TIMES CHEAPER than all the other companies on my "Top 7 Hot List".

UPDATE: The only other company who costs less money than MailGet on my "Top 7 Hot List" is TrafficWave because they let you send out an unlimited amount of emails to an unlimited amount of subscribers for a flat monthly fee of just $17.95 per month!

With MailGet you can...

  • Send unlimited emails up to 10,000 subscribers for just $29/month.
  • Send unlimited emails up to 50,000 subscribers for just $49/month.
  • Send unlimited emails up to 100,000 subscribers for just $79/month.

What does that mean?

It means that Mailget is one of the most affordable email marketing solutions that benefits all business firms, especially the small and medium ones.

Beyond that, you can do all the main things with MailGet as you can with their competition, such as send out regular campaigns (i.e., electronic newsletters) and/or drip campaigns. (i.e., follow up email autoresponders.)

MailGet also comes with premade templates so you can send beautiful designed emails that look professional to your email list, and creating an autoresponder is super simple.

With that said, MailGet doesn't come with all the "bells" and "whistles" that some of its competitors include. But the honest truth is that most people never take the time to figure out all that fancy stuff out anyhow. (Yet they continuously pay high prices for stuff they never use and the priveledge to have them.)

Once you get it all set up there are web based wizards that take you through step-by-step which makes it all super easy to do.

In fact, it only takes four steps to get started with MailGet:

  1. Connect to Amazon SES (or any recommended SMTP service).
  2. List import.
  3. Create template and follow the prompts.
  4. Contact MailGet for help if you have questions or get stuck.

Here's the best part...

Like I said, when you use MailGet for your email marketing it will be 100 TIMES CHEAPER... AND... MORE PROFITABLE because if you use Amazon, email deliverability to your contacts is guaranteed!

So to get started all you have to do is sign up to MailGet. When you do, you are automatically granted a free Web based demo that lets you look around your account before you buy.

Next, if all looks good then simply join MailGet from within the free demo.

After that, you would then join (and setup) SMTP through a 3rd party service such as Amazon SES. (Which MailGet will show you how to do after you've joined.)

So basically, you are combining these two services (MailGet and Amazon SES or an equivalent recommended SMTP) to use together as one.

Now, if you're a non-techie I admit the thoughts of setting up MailGet and SMTP to work together may seem a bit cryptic and intimidating.

But don't worry...

  1. Just use the step-by-step tutorial that MailGet gives you to setup up Amazon SES SMTP and link it to the MailGet service quickly and easily.

    - OR -

  2. Simply contact MailGet and request them to setup your Amazon SES account and link it to their MailGet service for you.
BOTTOM LINE:

MailGet doesn't come with any free trials. But you it's free to sign up (as in a free demo) so you can thoroughly check them out before joining. (You just won't be able to send any emails yet.)

If you are on a super tight budget (or if you want to save money by paying less per subscriber so you can increase your profits and make even more money) and if you want a super affordable service for email marketing that guarantees email deliverability, then I would strongly suggest MailGet.

Again, since MailGet comes with a free demo you can thoroughly explore it without any risk or obligation whatsoever.
