AWeber is also probably best known for their super high
deliverability rates to their recipient's INBOX, which obviously
is what makes them so desirable as an email service provider.

AWeber Review

What can I say about AWeber...
-
They've been around forever now, and
they have always been very well respected.
-
Their web panel is arguably one of the
easiest to get around, which is especially important to
new users.
- Deliverability for email almost always get through. (Very
Important!)
-
They have all the main tools you need
to make your email marketing highly successful, such as
creating newsletters, unlimited follow up autoresponders,
email tracking, email marketing automation, and more.
There are only a handful of things I don't care for
about Aweber...
-
If you have been with another autoresponder
email marketing service and you decide to switch to AWeber,
you will be forced to send out an email to your existing
list asking them to opt-in to AWeber.
The reason why AWeber requires this is to help keep any
potential spam complaints to a minimum and their deliverability
rate high.
Unfortunately, the only problem with this is that you
risk losing a part of your list who doesn't opt-in. Sometimes
it can be a significant loss you weren't anticipating
as a list owner.
- If for some reason you decide you want to switch to a
competitor of AWeber it may not be so easy to take your
email list with you. In fact, it could turn into a huge
headache, especially if you have a large list.
- If you're a brick and mortar business, or if you're someone
who gathers up email addresses offline (i.e., signup sheets,
postcard contests, the fish bowl method with business cards,
etc.) you won't be able to manually enter your leads into
AWeber. They must opt-in themselves. So if this is your
situation then AWeber is probably not for you.
- You will be forced to use double opt-in for everyone who
signs up to your email list. Not that there's anything wrong
with that, but there are some scenarios where it would just
be nice if one did NOT have to force people to double opt-in.
(But again, that's the reason why AWeber can keep their
email deliverability so high and complaint free!)
- The larger your list grows the more you will have to
pay to use AWeber.
- If someone on your list chooses to unsubscribe later,
you must go in to manually unsubscribe them from the entire
AWeber system, which can become time consuming as your list
grows. If you fail to do this, any unsubscribes will still
be included in your total subscriber count, and you will
continue getting charged by AWeber as if that subscriber
was still active.
- If the same person subscribes to more than one list AWeber
counts them as two different subscribers. The reality is
that the same person (people) may subscribe to several of
your various lists. (i.e., Your master list, your webinar,
your ebook download, your email course, your customer list,
etc.)
Other than those few drawbacks, I'd say Aweber is nearly
perfect in every other way, because when it comes to successfully
delivering emails to your recipient's INBOX they are among
the best!
If you want an email marketing system that is super simple
to use where your emails actually get delivered to your
recipent's INBOX (IMPORTANT!) then you can't go wrong with
AWeber.
You can try AWeber FREE for 30 days.
After that it starts off at $19/month for up to 500 subscribers.
